|
|
Hello. I usually offer weird things that I run across on Ebay, but this forum seems more appropriate.
I have 2 Sun UltraSPARC IIi chips pulled from working machines I took apart. These chips don't look like they'll be much good for gold recovery, but are very unique, having no pins!
I also have an Intel Pentium w/ MMX tech "MECH SAMPLE". There is nothing written on the bottom of the chip to indicate the speed, but I put it in a motherboard clocked at 200 MHz and it worked nicely (I was surprised it was a real working chip.)
I was thinking $10 per UltraSparc chip, and $70 for the mech sample, baesd on the prices I've seen on this board. (In Canadian dollars.) Shipping would be $2 to Canada or the US for any one chip. If anyone wants these, I would accept paypal plus the traditional methods of payment, or, if you feel safer buying from a stranger through Ebay, I could put the item on there. I sell through the name Good_Beer_Junk. Email cousineau@golden.net or reply to this if you are interested.
Thanks! |

Hi.
No, I can't trade. I'm a precious metals guy, not a chip guy. Unless you have 5 oz of silver or 3 grams of gold you want to send!
Very impressive collection, though. |

I don't know what an S-SPEC is! The photo has all the writing - what you see is what you get!
I beleive the Mech Sample was sent to a university in my area. I came across it as I was sorting through scrap computers and boards and monitors I had taken for them. |
