Well, I checked the datasheet for 287 and connections are surely strange.
If it's top view the only relatively sane possible configuration (left end is top)
pulls up NC(4) to Vss, connects !PEACK with CMD1 and NC(38 ) with RESET and D0.
Hmmm... some test purposes maybe.
Where do you find it?

maybe in '99 he didn't find one on ebay and wanted to test some environment that required but did not use a 287?
Just guessing and wondering what strange stuff I have in my workshop.

What does the diode etch says besides visible '94' here Confused
