Internet browsing speed??

Recently, I have plans to upgrade but the only thing that holds me back is the fact that I use my computer mostly in internet surfing about 80% most of the time. The remaining 20% is spent doing some office apps like word, powerpoint, simple downloads among others. I'm not a hardcore gamer and I don't do heavy-threaded apps like video editing. My unit has LGA 775 3.06Ghz pentium wolfdale cpu, asus g41 mobo with Gb ethernet, 4gb ddr3 1066, 1gb sapphire hd 5450 & 500gb wd blue sata hdd. I can really say that this present machine is fast enough to perform these basic tasks at home. Now my question is: In terms of internet surfing, do the current ivy bridge or haswell systems perform much faster or snappier than the LGA 775? I searched the net about this, but it seems there's none.
