I receive hard drives in PC's and server and I reuse what I can whenever possible after wiping them. I had some 500G Seagate SATA drives come
in that are password locked. Anyone have any suggestions about
how to unlock them like with the secret master password? Cool

I hate to just have them shredded but I will if I can't get them
unlocked. Losing the data is not a problem as I need to wipe
them anyway.

Did you try to delete the partition and whatnot using the diskpart command on the HDD?

I use SeaTools for DOS to test drives and it fails every drive.
When the PC boots up in BIOS, it flashes a warning that the
drive is locked before it even attempts to boot from the CDROM.

My other drive wiping software I use just hangs up when it tries to
load when any of these locked drives are installed. Crying or Very sad

If else fails, connect to the offending disk to other than SATA 0 connector. You can use a working OS disk to boot with the offending disk as a second drive to see if you can access them.
