I'll vote for DX2-66 as the most common from 80486 processors.

Pentium 133 is about as common as Pentium 100.

And the most common ES processor is probably Intel Pentium II Xeon 400 and 450 MHz.

In Poland I see next candidate : Intel Pentium II 266. Whole mass of auctions with this cpu for 3 PLN (about 0,80 USD) and nobody want him Laughing

I agree with grampa.

I buy sometimes for goldscrap bigger quantities of chips and the 486DX-33 is the most frequently chip.

The majority of the CPUs I lately see in the scrap desktops comes in socket 478, 775 or 370. Probably socket 478 Celerons are the most common, but I couldn't pick a specific model. LGA775 Celeron D 331 (2.66 GHz) is a good candidate though, I've possibly seen more of it than of any 478.

But it might be as well a local thing Smile

I think it is a local thing. When I was collecting cpus from kerbside rubbish collections, box pentiums were quite common. I hear that they are not that common in other parts of the world.

Probably the most common in the Pentium era for me is the Pentium 100 SU110. Heaps of those I have. Also Pentium 200MMX SL23W.

In the P3 era, 450 SL37C, P3 733 socket 370.
In the P4 era, P4 2ghz Northwood, 3Ghz socket 775.
Talking about Pentium 3 slot 1, it took me a while, but eventually I found one of each speed on kerbside collections, including the 1000/256/100.
