Continuing where others left off in the the previous thread
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/80386/index.html
Lists sockets of PGA132, QFP132 and QFP100

I assume the non SX and DX ones are omitted on purpose, but the SX also came in a PGA88, the smallest pinout of the 386s

That information in the "At a glance" box is based on 80386 specs in the CPU database. The database doesn't have information on 386 processors in the PGA88 package yet.

Good job on the search box on the front page.

It is a good feature for this site, and I use it a lot.

Cool, it means I didn't waste my time improving it Smile Eventually all pages will get this feature. I will need to update a bunch of templates, rebuild pages and then test them. Since this will be done in parallel with new feature development and data updates, it can take up to a few months to update everything ...

It'd be nice to separate them somehow, but I don't want to do what Intel did. They put first Pentiums on a separate page, and called them "Legacy Pentium". Rather than splitting them, maybe I could add a "Legacy" / "Latest chips" filter to the page. If you have have any other suggestions please post.

maybe 1st & xxx generation or 32 & 64bit
my issue is that the over-view information is only original pentium & "at a glance" info covers both
confusing for anyone with no background of CPUs

Guessing the same will apply to original itanium & reuse of the name in a much later generation

Perhaps we can put up "Penitum/(code name here)" for the Pentium groups here Confused
