oohh yeahh?! then ill get 30MB/s!!! really, it's pretty expensive over here for fast internet (By expensive, I mean more than what it costs in Europe). My 8Mbit/s connection costed $50 per month, now Verizon came out with a Fibre DSL thing which offers 15MBit/s for the same price- thought I caught a break. _________________ http://www.RareCPUs.com

If I hadn't given up on my ex, I'd have moved to France - 20Mb for about 15€! I'm surprised nobody so far has admitted to having that _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Since all internet connections in the WORLD no matter which provider are distributed from a server managed by the U.S Government.
USA= 1
Everyone else=0

Are you sure that the US governement still has that much power over the Internet? I thought that it had become so big and powerful in itself that it would keep going even if the entire US government network went down... _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Still do The UN is trying to take control of the internet, but I doubt the U.S government would allow it. _________________ http://www.RareCPUs.com

Only DNS root servers are managed by US, and if I'm not mistaken they're managed by Network Solutions, which is a private company. Internet by itself is not managed or controlled by US government.
