LOL. There is no big deal. Just some people bidding like crazy on odd things.

OMG! I'm so glad that I took them off my watch list before bidding got that silly Smile

I can understand bidding going up above a few $ for the SX25 (and DX25) overdrives - I don't think they are all that common. The 50 MHz though - I can only guess that these examples are rare

Having just looked at a few of the sellers completed auction, I think that a lot of people are going to be glad when tmac has filled some of the gaps in his collection! A few of his auctions finished at double the price they would have had if tmac hadn't put in his bid Neutral

I believe those auctions above sold at a high price because of the SX and SX2 overdrives. I wouldn't have bid anywhere near that if I was missing one in my collection, but it looks like somebody really wants them. Smile

It looked like it was really down to tmac and s_bruda. I'm missing them from my collection and watched them to start with, but took them off my watch list as soon as I saw big bidders jumping in - no point watching them when I know the price is going to be multiples of what I could pay (not for something that modern, anyway, at least until I'm in with a chance).

Me too, there are 2 486 overdrives missing in my collection : DX2ODP50 & ODP486SX-20

But s_bruda will have two DX2ODP50 for swap I think...
