Whoa, that's fast! Mine averages around 6Mbit. Australia is lagging behind in internet speed, with many areas having speeds not much better than tin cans and string.

I imagine it is excruciating when you try and go look at die shots in
the "Die photography, wafers and memorabilia" section of the forum!! Cool

My home internet is supposed to be 100/100 MB but I only usually get about 50-70 Mb/s download and 30-50 Mb/s upload. I pay about $25 a month and get a free landline (PSTN) too.

I pay 45 Euro for this. Achieved with wireless. With an actual cable I get around 55 MBit/s down and 10 MBit/s up

More accurate results can be made by choosing a server in the US.
That way you will get a real speed your ISP is providing you when you are connecting to US.
And by the way, that's my internet connection at the moment. Free of charge... Very Happy

Had fiber with Free in France, 1000/250 for about 30 euros a month.
Now I'm in the US and I feel back in the middle ages of internet...

Here's my internet speed result:

7.38 mbps

Is it fair enough if I'm paying around $100?
