Nice find! That's only the second time I have seen that part number (and I have no record of where I saw the first one - I only know I have it listed on my site!). I believe 33MHz is the only speed to have the U5SF marking. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

http://datasheets.chipdb.org/UMC/U5S.txt shows that this is a valid part number for a UMC 486SX-33 in PQFP. I have not seen any original UMC documentation for the 486, so cannot confirm (and can only test one if I ever get one on an adaptor). _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

i just set up a 486 system to test it .
it boots as U486SX-S.
it returns

Those results make sense (at least, to me they do!).
U5S and U486SX are two different naming conventions for the same processor group (and same set of CPUID). F is the package, so will not show on a test.
I guess I really should get my act together, and start upgrading the software, to give a more user friendly interface, among other things _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
