I started working on the next CPU tester. It is an MC680x/MCS650x tester.
Unfortunately I’m not so familiar with these CPU types. I’ve just started investigating the manuals. So infos and advices would be welcome.

As I plan the base test-board will handle
MC6800/6802/6808
MCS6502/6512

With expansion (like Z80/i8085 for MCS80 tester) the following additional CPUs can be handled
MC6809
MCS6503/04/05/06/07/13/14/15

I need some help and advices. What other CPUs are in these families that should be handled too? What special features, secret codes, bugs should be tested?

I have a few MC6800/02 CPUs but I only have an R65C02P3, CMDu G65SC02D-3 and a CMDu G65SC12P-2 CPUs.
If someone has surplus of MOS 6502 and other different type/speed/manufacturer 650x CPUs, that would be a great help for the test-board development if I can take some.

I think a white ceramic MCS 6502 would be essential Laughing and a 6501 too

think there is some small differences from the NMOS to CMOS 6502s

Same with say moto 6805->146805

If an expansion will support 6800 based MCUs

The prototype of the 680x/650x test-board is ready. Very Happy

It handles directly:
Moto
6800 tested
6802 tested
6808 tested

MOS
6502 UMC/SY tested, MOS missing
65C02 Rockwell tested
65SC02 CMD tested
W65C02S UMC/WDC tested
6512 Rockwell tested
65SC12 CMD tested
65SC102 CMD tested
65SC112 missing
65SC802 missing
65SC816 CMD/WDC tested

And with expansion ZIF socket it will handle
Moto 6809
MOS 6503, 6504, 6505, 6506, 6507, 6513, 6514, 6515
MOS 6510 / Commodor 8500

Hopefully I'll get the expansion PCBs in days. After that I have to finalize the Pin-Config-Panels.
And if everything will go fine I can make the first pieces before X-mas. Very Happy

But until then, for checking the tester I need some 650x variants. Those are marked missing and 6506, 6513-6515.

And a MOS 6502 is still missing. I wouldn't mind if it's ceramic. lol

If someone has surplus of these I'd like to buy them.

65C802 and MOS 6502, I can send them to you and you can return them when shipping the test board to me

As I read my post, I'm afraid it was not clear that I wrote about expansions.
The so many variants of 650x requires several expansions. Sad
one for Moto 6809
one for 4K and one for 8K address space of 6503-6515
and an other for 6510
They will be around $8-$12 each

So we'll need to clarify which one is needed.
