AVICC awards proposal

We, as a community, should have some annual awards.. for different categories like 'best find of the year' , strangest chip of the year" , 'most beautiful chip" , 'most active collector' , ' most active new collector', ' achievement of the year" for a collector... and / or maybe other categories..)

And we should all donate some chips or something to be some prizes...
Or entry the competition may be lets say 5-10 USD for each member and the total split for each category as prize....

and we ca make some kind of diplomas or something...

For 5 to 15 january each member should post his entry to any category he wants and 2 weeks for voting process...

This would make collecting more fun and (maybe) more competitive ..

I remember that we had a "find of the year" topic a few years ago, and I liked it. We should do it again.

I also thought it may be nice to have a holiday chip exchange via AVICC. Each person donates something to AVICC, AVICC displays all the donations, there is a random draw to determine the order of selection, and each donator can choose one of the donated items.
