I believe

F = Philippines
K = Korea
C = USA or A4 (Does anyone know the meaning of A4?)
L = Malay

Hope this help.

There is some inconsistency with the country codes on Intel 8080 - 8088. 'L' is or was also Philippines: D8080A: 'L' front side, backside says Philippines. There is also an 8080 with 'U' that says Philippines on the back. On this 8085 and this 8088 there is 'L', with Malaysia on the back. And 'I' is also Malaysia on this 8086-2 and several other 8088 and 80188 I have.

So:
L = Philippines or (later?) Malaysia
F = Philippines
U = Philippines
K = Korea
I = Malaysia

On newer cpus, Pentiums and above L means Malaysia.
So country codes could change with time ?
