That looks like Clipper C4 MCM, so that's a very interesting one indeed. I don't have any die shots of those yet, but I'll try to release Clipper C300 die shots this week, so C4 pics would be great additions.

Do you have other open chips or MCM that I haven't released yet at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Birdman86?

In the sparc modules you also have different technology, ceramic and organic package. It also seems that the die interposer is different, silicon in the ceramic packages and thin film in the organic ones.
They are really cool!

I've got two Pentium PRO die shots waiting for release, so I've got pics of that core already. However, both of those are 256k ones, so I don't have any 512k cache die yet. Thus, there's a new die indeed.

Does anyone know which core version is in that 1GigaPro or should I try to find out by taking die shots?

Tried a new method last night of taking die shots.

I'll have to practice a bit.

That's quite good resolution already, but maybe you could try different illumination options. Two light sources can make both horizontal and vertical wires shine and give the best RT626 and Clipper C4 die shots yet.
