Thanks Steve, I made it with a Nikon D3200 under the 20Watt florescent tube over my sink. They look awesome under some of the new LED lights too.
I'm in the process of putting up a 16 foot track light system over the wall where I will hang my favorite rare wafer and chip displays. This will allow me to adjust the lighting angles and color spectrums for the best iridescence show throughout the room. |

I will figure out how to post photos here and really appreciate all the other members that do. I've learned so much history from reading the posts here.
Still can't believe we can buy all these rare chips for less than they cost new. It's definitely the golden age of silicon chip and wafer collecting. Just can't get enough of them. |

Yes, I'm trying to get die shots of nice old chips before they're almost all recycled and the few left become valuable collection items.
BTW, I've got better matching early R4400 die shot waiting in my release queue, but it's not post-processed yet. Just let me know how I can send it if you want. |

Hi Birdman
Thanks very much for the offer, but I certainly don't want to trouble a great artist like yourself. I'm almost never in a hurry and always saving more rare chips and wafers to send you. Really love your work and your amazing generosity.
May God's blessings be on you my friend. |
