Been meaning to write this series for a while, as I get asked a lot (as I am sure many of you do as well)

Great Article and much needed to help grow the number of collectors around the globe which ultimately is good for us all.

Many people look for a collecting hobby and this sort of information is what they need to help them make a decision about what is good and interesting to collect.

Keep up the good work John Very Happy

I use your web-site more and more for reference as
you are frequently expanding with an increasing number
of interesting articles about vintage chips Very Happy
But before that you have to make a start ...

As for collecting tips for new collectors I remember reading
Steve Emery's web page for the first time over 10 years ago:
http://www.antiquetech.com/ Point to the "Chip Collecting"
bar at the top left.
The web page should be up and running again after being
"closed"/ inaccessible for several years.
