Any ideas what this might be? I came across 6 of them in a box in my cupboard. I know I paid 75 bucks each for them a while back but cannot remember what they are... _________________ best rgds.

It has a "Standard Microcitcuit Drawing" (SMD) number which I do also not recognize. the middle A is very untypical.
The package however is finished. This is the standard shipping method for flat-packs with this kind of parts. The customer normally cut and bends the pins to his own needs. In case of FPGAs, this is also the package the programming adapters accept.
I think, this is a FPGA, probably already programmed and therefore this special number. In addition, I have no information that AMI is listed as qualified part manufacturer for SMD parts. AMI may have programmed this part and relabled it as a standard product.
So, still some mystery left, Berni |
