I hit 2 geeky milestones recently lol.
1) Cracked the top 100 list in number of post amongst forum members.
2) 500 unique CPUs/FPUs in my collection. |

How do you define unique? Different part numbers, or do you include different package variations, or...? |

I will collect different package variations if its noticeably different. But not collect chips of different speeds or specs etc.
My primary objective for my collection is as an art pieces thus I have more interest in a chip that looks different then one that has a couple extra letters like ES.
But I do try to get something representive of as many different manufactures or classes as possible. Just need to spread out thoses boring black plastic ones lol. |
