Does someone have any information about origin and function of those H04NK4 chips?
I'd like to know because I've opened one and it has a very interesting die inside:

At least my die shot shows it's designed by Codex, so possibly some modem chip. For me that die looks like some processor, so maybe it's some kind of DSP. Anyway, looks like it's an interesting chip to collect, so I hope to find more information. |
