Thanks guys, but it's not necessary to change your bookmarks to start from the home page.

Not all of them. About one third of adds on the CPU-World is CPM.

Never use AD blocker...
Maybe add some ADs to the forum will help? _________________ Tracing 4004 all over the world |

Disabled!
If ads were just still images I probably wouldn't even bother with it, but moving things in my peripheral vision eat up my 3-mbps connection and CPU time (=waste of energy, extra heat and noise) - and they're annoying too. |

Google has been allowing cryptocurrency mining ads now, which really kill your performance (by design) so I pretty much use an ad blocker always now _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Agree, mining is worst than having an add on a page haha

I'm surprised that it's legal to mine on other people's computers without their knowledge. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

In some areas it probably hasn't, but its such a new abuse that it has yet to be tested in the courts (in any country that I know of) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

There are no changes in site's ad policy. However... Members of the "CPU collectors" group can browse the site ad-free. You can send a request to join that group using the "Usergroups" link in the top menu. If/When approved, you will also get access to the "Group Buys" forum.
