Maybe that's simply beginner's luck.
IMO selling too many items may get into market saturation and the results are much lower prices. |

Auctions are very risky and serious collectors are very few. It takes a long time to get noticed in a sea of sellers. I've been collecting for almost forty years and dealing on ebay for seven. I'm still spending way more than I make. You've got to love it or get out, one of the two.
Value your time and experience. Everybody has a sad story and wants something great for nothing, but to track this stuff down, research it, package it, and get it on the market is worth something. If you've got a rare item, wait it out. You've got to take the attitude that they will pay what it's worth or you'll just keep it until someone does.
BTW welcome to the game. |
