|
|
Here are some nice ones.
These are Vega 3 processors made by Azul Systems. The Vega 3 is a 54-core chip fab'd by TSMC and designed for speeding up JAVA.
Each of the 54-cores is a classic 3 address 64-bit RISC processor with 32-registers, 16K I-Cache and 16K D-Cache. There is 12MB of L2 cache on chip as well (each 9-cores share 2M)
The die size is truly massive! Not sure what process these made on, as Azul doesn't say (the Vega 2 was 90nm., so guessing 65-90nm)
$6 each or 2 for $10
( $4 for the opened one) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

That one came decapped, doesnt look hard though, I'd just warm it up on the grill, (or hot air gun) and pry it off _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

I need two chips also. Just a backup in case of first decap failure. |

The last in the line from Azul, then they produced only machines running Java in software.
Die is ~550 mm^2
I'll take one. |
