Dudes - first sensible offer gets the prize. The kit is with John at AVICC NOW so it could be in your box today... or if you need it mailed to anywhere worldwide add $25 to your purchase price offer.

This kit has been put away in a drawer and forgotten since the day it was delivered. Look at the photos for exactly what you are buying. A rare item and I want to offer to collectors first. If nothing else this will round out your CS (Customer Sample) collection including a VERY rare Intel white ceramic C8080A CS

Steve, what about black death? Are the pins in good shape?

Probably minor as was stored in a dry cool place BUT the chips have not been removed since it was stored way back in the 1970's

Well guys - I got the kit finally in my sticky hands and yes it is the original black foam BUT I have to tell you the pins look good. Need a little work but all stiff and sturdy. I am going to replace the original black foam with some new stuff so this will be the only non-original part. Anyone who wants to make me an offer - please go ahead. One corner of the box lid is torn but overall, for such a vintage item, it is looking mighty goooood.
