Hi guys, I had to ask on another forum to identify this cpu but now I need to know if it's worth anything or did I just waste a load of money.

I'm told that it is a Fujitsu SPARC64 V and the serial number written on one is

MBCS100502D-4M 0420 E07

It has a very nice looking gold plated, I think, heatsink on top almost looks like solid gold. I'm having trouble uploading photos on this forum will try again when I get home.

Just don't know how much it's worth if anything at all. I have a bunch of them and some other rather interesting looking ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Shu

I'm sure others would be interested if you had some for sale including myself, regarding value this can be tricky cause I've seen these sell recently, two which I purchased. And others I've see sell much higher in really good condition. You can always post pictures and request offers via PMs.

Well tbh I think I'm just in the collecting mood atm. Most modern cpus I'd sell in a heartbeat, but one old vintage ones and ones that look special, to me, I'd rather keep for now. Maybe I'll get bored of keeping them and eventually sell them. It's just that I didn't know anything about these until I asked on gold refining forum. Yes, I was going to use these for gold recovery but not anymore. They look too cool especially as a bunch. Looks like gold biscuits.

If I ever do sell I'll let you guys know first.

Thanks for the info and interest.

Shu

Here are the other ones I have in the same collection

All are sun ultra SPARC

Are these any good? Again I'm not gonna sell anything yet but maybe when I get desperate and have to sell.

Last one for now. Sorry if these are in the wrong place. Just thought I'd get them out of the way.
