This one took forever to do, but I'm very pleased with the result.
It's the POWER1, in its RIOS.9 configuration.
This is _one_ processor, implemented in eight chips, designated U4, U5, U6, U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 on the PCB.
The FRU codes on the chips are correct, and U19 and U20 are the same.
I have a vague idea of which chip is which, but I'm not sure but I'm positive that some of you know what's what so I trust you guys And what does the the two large Arrow DIPs do?
Hi res version here. _________________ Always on the look out for POWER, PowerPC and Power Architecture information. For photographs, information and parts to buy. Am doing research at Wikipedia |
