I know some of you might consider my auctions as stupid but not as stupid as this one. Search eBay for

"@LOOK@ INTEL PENTIUM 4 PROCESSOR DOUBLE STRIKE STAMP ERROR COLLECTORS RARE ITEM"

And marvel at the silly price...

Anyone else spotted any crazy prices lately?

A lot of 400X and other more common Intel stuff... Starting bid at the price of 3 original Busicom 141-PF, and there is even a reserve price
Ok, Intel C400X are rare, but at the point to ask ~3k$ each...
But who knows, maybe the blank zebra chips are 4004 ES Very Happy...

These are nice chips though, but I wonder how much are the wasted listing prices for such auctions...

hmpf. who knows, maybe a romanian politician needs to invest some money "earned" lately, lol.
At least the seller has a clue the grey C4003 is worth mentioning as socket pull.

Here is another one, This seller has had well over 2000 listing close in the last 15 days and I looked at 1600 of his listings and he made 5 sales out of those for a sale total of just over US$100

Seems like a hell of a lot of work for that if you ask me.

Also he tries to use the fear factor of Fake Items to justify his prices.

Looks like it is shipping from Italy. Shipping from the UK to Switzerland with no tracking would cost £1.25 as a letter.

Really? I wonder why the price is in GBP then... Now that you mention it, it is true that it says "Item location: it"

But if I choose any country (even Italy) except UK, the shipping price is a whopping 390 £ for mere SD cards :p ! Looks like he just typed in cents instead of £ but still funny as I never saw such expensive shipping prices before.

He only charges £3.90 to ship to the UK, £390 to ship to Switzerland has to be a mistake. I would query it with him.
