Question for Itanium ES 400/500/533/600

My friend found a lot of Itanium ES cpus range from 400、500、533、600 (All are 2M cache version). Are they genuine or fake because I can’t find any Itanium is 400Mhz

They are real.. I think.. I have seen 500 and I have a 533

Seems reasonable to me that an ES could run at a slower speed than the slowest of the production chips. The 400 is possibly a pre-release ES, before any production chips were manufactured... (of course, I'm not an expert, but I'm sure I've heard the same said in the forum about another processor...)

I also have a 667

But the code on the 400 is 80541KY4002M. That means it has 100MHz bus.

Look a bit more and you'll notice that on both the 400 it shows that the bus speed is 100. It says "400/100" Smile

just goes to show the problems they had getting the speed up on these Smile
