Two new very rare chips in my collection

Riviera mentioned in another thread that 4004 was used in military equipment, so this gave me an idea where to look for 4004. Well, I couldn't find C4004, but look what I found instead -



4004 Military chip!!! This one was used in military calculator.

The second chip maybe even more rare than MD4004. Everybody knows that AMD had problems with K5 family of chips. So there solution was pretty simple:



Unfortunately, because Intel trademarked "Pentium" name the chip never went into production. This one is an engineering sample sent to me by retired AMD employee.

Military version on the i4004 !!!!!!!!!!

and the AMD pentium. Is there a warehouse full of these somewhere in silicon valley????????

I see you did the same trick with "W" -> "M". And you used "3" to create "B" (I used "8"). At least on my picture triangle is real - I cut it from MD8080A/B Smile
