If somebody want only desoldered Socket 1 from first mobo I can do it. Price will be 10 euro + 3 euro shipping.
Shipping complete mainboard outside Germany and Poland will cost 18 euro in < 2 kg package. Inside Germany shipping will cost only 5 euro via DHL. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

The socket 2 is the one I would have had as well, for the same reasons mentioned above = all the memory slots, the amount of cache, and I also like the small Everex board with the P8042AH on it. Several things would have made that a ncie addition to my collection - if my auctions had already finished and I could be sure to be able to pay I'd have snatched it the minute it was listed!
The socket 1 board is fairly standard - I probably have some like that (although I doubt they are as clean as yours...). Shipping for that is more than I would pay to collect one from my neighbour (not said as a put down, just giving you an idea what to look out for if you see the socket 2 anywhere again). _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I can reduce price to 12 euro for first mobo. I would like to keep than sale cheaper. Shipping cost are independent from me Here inside Poland package cost only 2 euro with priority.
Socket 1 in ZIF version I see first time so I think I will not have next one soon. Socket 2 ZIF I see about 5th-7th time so no problem to keep an eye on it. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

please say that you wouldn't have desoldered anything! It would have been a shame! _________________ Frank. |

No way would I desolder anything from a board like that! I like boards like that for what they are, and they are also useful for testing chips, SIMMs and software.
I'll be so glad when I finish sorting through the stuff in my work/store room so I can throw out the empty cases, sort the boards according to what they are and start testing all the boards and complete systems ready to set up my test rigs - I'll know then just what older boards I still have and what I need to buy to finish setting the test area up _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
