It's the sort of thing that's on my todo list, but I haven't made it a priority. I'm off shortly for another scanfest (don't know how many chips will get scanned today but hope to show off a few more later), and I'll start to look into preparing some specs for an app later, including checking out ssome algorithms, then I'll post a thread about it (within a few days) to get input on what people like about my idea and what else you would like to see in an app like that Smile It wouldn't be cpu-world exclusive though - any code I write will be public domain and open source, under a license similar to gpl or bsd..

EDIT:

Damn, I got round to do some scanning, and after struggling up and down the local hills with a box of chips in my lap (in the wheelchair), the guy told me he forgot to say he is decorating, please nip back next weekend! Dammit, he could ahve said before I wore myself out for nothing!

Anyway, that means I'm going to look into some options for an app of this sort that does not need Windoze. Might be the middle of the week before I come up with an initial idea/spec (ie what it should do, how it should do it, what range of processors it should work on - although it will all be x86 compatible whatever as I'll be writing it in assembler...), but when I do I'll start a thread as stated before the edit Smile

My Dual P3 needs

2M 27.094S

that's the problem of this program, it can only handle 1 cpu, so you cannot use the maxium power of your dual p3
