Hi!
Traded this Ppro with i440bx. Got it today and did a brief check on the numbers.
When i Google the sspec Q396 Intel lists it in the "Quick Reference Guide". I thought only production/official cpus where listed there?
It is not marked ES...

I just took a look at the Quick Reference Guide and it has more Q-Spec Pentium Pros than S-Spec _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

It is without a doubt a qual sample.
Here is the link to save people looking...

Click on the Q0815
Thats the good old PPro133 - ( hasnt everyone got one by now?? )
I can only guess, but I imagine it was a heady time at Intel during those years, many processors, things moving FAST. They didnt want any mistakes like the Pentium FDIV. |

I haven't got one yet. Anyone got one going spare if they're a relatively common QSpec??

That makes sense. A big company like Intel can afford to produce a lot of freebie versions for testing while they develop something that is ultimately going to sell enough to pay for their losses ten (thousand) times over _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

And they did a really great job with the P6 core that was introduced with the PPro. |

Really? I never really got into the PPros when they came out. They were WAY over my head in price. |

I figured they would be silly prices, but thought I'd latch onto your joke (if it was meant to be one) about everyone having one With the 133 production chips being uncommon (do they even exist?) I would have been surprised if I gogt an immediate offer at a price I would want to pay without thinking first _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
