I just need to let off the steam...
I recently got big nice package from John that also included this NIB Xeon: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28244
I must say - DAMN, the chip had really large box! And it was probably suspicious for customs officers in our hated Post 120 that handles all foreign packages.
I had bad feelig when I got the package itself, the customs sticker stated that they opened it for further checking. That would not be such a big issue, but then I have found that those d*cks also tore the wrap from this Xeon and not very gently opened the box
(Well, on the other hand I know how does it look inside, but that is a poor consolation.)
I am sure that if I purchased blue Mauritius stamp, they would stick it on postcard and send it to me
I hope that this is not going to happen to any of you guys! |

I thought that such mess is happening only at the Post of Russia, but as it turned out not only here. I sent parcels to the Czech Republic to our collectors from this forum, but for the last year I was given three refunds of the parcel at the customs house in the Czech Republic. I repacked and sent the package back and he came back to me. I hope this was the last time. _________________ WTB List / Trade List |
