Just a quick POLL to make sure we are doing the right thing here at CPU-World and that our members enjoy participating.

I have had a couple of comments that people really do not care for them and think they are a waste of webspace cluttering up the forums.

What I think: Well it is adding an interesting, new and fun way of looking at ou CPU collections, and certainly keeps the forums active.

Vote away and please voice your opinion (Especially if you are in favour) Wink

Sam.

I like it to and it is a fun addition to the forum. It lightens up the collection hobby so that its not just about value and sspecs. Shows that we are not boring stampcollectors, this is the hobby of the 21st century!

Also from an cpu historical point i find it interesting to see when things started compared to release dates and other speeds. I didnt know for example that P90 where made before P75.

There are on average 3-4 active threads per day in "Modern chips" so i dont think it "spams" the forum either. As in all forums all over internet, if you dont like the thread, ignore it.

I like them, gives me an excuse to look around in my collection for something other than value and trades.

Well if the voting continues like this I'm sure we'll have no problems keeping the threads alive.
