|
|
Here is my latest project. After some 8-bit CPU testers this is an 4-bit bit-slice CPU tester.
To form an 8-bit minimal microcomputer system the tester requires two 2901 units. The tested one in the ZIF socket and an other already tested (reference) one in socket 2.
I use a PIC MCU which with 35 I/O pins works as micro code controller. It evaluates and executes i8008 OP codes, that are stored in the test program EPROM.
This test works very similar to my other test-boards. Same I/O same features.
This tester can test only AM2901 and compatible units. I do not think there will be any expansion for it.
If someone would like to take an AM2901 tester, it's price is $66, including one tested AM2901 BPC or CPC to socket 2.
Manual is attached and also can be found in https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6t52HmlhZkYR2Y2YzJqUXNVMnM _________________ ----------------------------------------------------------
