Hello, i found this Forum and i thing here are some people who can help me.
And sorry for my English ;D.
I built on the Motherboard a 1100T and it works better than the 965 BL.
My Problem is now, the Bios and the Windows do not get known of the CPU, its a unknown Modell. It runs on 800mhz, in Amd overdrive i can set the Multiplier up, but only to 15,5 i think and that are 3100 MHZ. But i want to have the standard of the CPU 3300 or if possible more.
K10Sat is working but only for the first Core...it do not get known of the others. In Amd Overdrive i can OC all Cors to 3100 after that i can set the multiplier higher but when i will save it they jump back to 15.5. Only the first core of the six i can OC easy to 3.8. But i want to do that with all cors.
How the bios / windows can get known of the cpu, i think that will Fix my multipier issue. if you have a another solution to get the CPU run faster please tell me ;D.
I would like to OC the FSB a bit but that for i need to get known of the Clockgenerator, whitch modell it is. I find nothing from dell or in the internet, can you tell me how i can easily find it out whitch i have.
It is only a fun projekt because i love doing it. I Hope you can help me out or give me some tipps.
If you need more informaion please tell me.
PS The reason why i use SoftwareOC is that dell motherboards are locked for such settings.

Hello,
"the Bios and the Windows do not get known of the CPU, its a unknown Modell". So you must upgrade BIOS, you are not lucky if there is no BIOS to upgrade. In that case replacing motherboard seems only viable solution.Without proper BIOS your CPU will not be supported and used at maximum using some overclocking allowed by AMD. Software for reporting and overlclocking should work much better with proper BIOS. |
