Hi,
I bought these nice AMD ES recently. They are second and third AMD ES in my collection while there are few times more ES made by Intel.
Reading forum, ebay and other sources I noticed, that there are much less AMD ES available than made by Intel. The question is: why? Is it because AMD much more cares about it's ES? Or it produces smaller quantity of ES? Or AMD wants their owners to send it back?

AMD is a much smaller company than Intel. They send less ES to big customers because they have less customers overall. AMD CPUs are/were also much more popular in Asian than in the US/EU. If you live in a western countries, you have much less chance to find AMD ES (vs someone living in Asia). That's particularly true for old CPU. K6 ES are common in China and Taiwan, but very rare in the US/EU. Starting from K8, there is plenty of AMD ES everywhere (especially Opterons). _________________ ES-Only Collector : http://www.engineering-sample.com
