|
|
I just got these 2 Burroughs boards at the Vintage Computer Fest-Mid West that was held near Chicago this past weekend.
These early (1971) RAM chips have custom part number 1534-9582 and the early "intel" logo.
Does anyone know what the actual Intel part number is??
I Googled the number and only found that this is a Burroughs number for a RAM chip. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

The power supply lines are often thicker, and will have bypass capacitors. If you find an electrolytic or tantalum capacitor they will be polarized and have markings to indicate the +/-.
Looks like a capacitor in the top left (silver) of the first photo (for sale 005.JPG). Follow the tracings from the + and - terminals along to the memory IC's and see what pins they go to.

Hello John
I think it is a 1101 256x1 Static Ram used on some local memory in the B1700 System. The Texas chip on the Jpeg can be an Shift register on the disk subsystem.
Best Regards |

This was the first time I attended VCF-MW in 3 years and I got lucky. The Fest has grown much bigger and now attracts visitors from other countries. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

Thanks to all repliers.
If anyone can show more evidence that these are C1101's, I would really appreciate it! _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |
