Sorry for posting on an unrelated topic, but there are only a few places I can post without registering - which is what I'm having trouble doing.

So I've tried registering with two different email addresses, but both times I didn't receive a confirmation email, and I can't log in with those usernames without confirming my email address.

After waiting 24hrs, I emailed webmaster@cpu-world.com about the problem, but after 7 days haven't received a response.

I have tried registering again, but it won't allow me to do so as those email addresses are already used.

What is the trick to joining this forum?

Did you use hotmail addresses? Hotmail blocks all mail from this site (I wasn't even getting it as junk mail). I use a different account for this site, albeit reluctantly.

If not Hotmail, it may still be your email provider that is the problem. Hopefully Genna (gshv, site owner and admin) will be able to help you, but I don't see him online every day.

Debs is right, all e-mails to hotmail, outlook and live e-mail accounts are getting bounced by Microsoft. Once I get some spare time I'll try to fix it.

As for the forum account... I had a couple of e-mails regarding forum accounts and I responded to them. I guess I missed your e-mail somehow. Please send account username to webmaster@cpu-world.com or post here, and I will activate it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I'd registered and emailed you from a Hotmail account. The account username I registered with was cuttingedgecs.

I checked my inbox folder and found that I did, in fact, received your e-mail. I have no idea how I missed it. Sorry about that.
