These are some interesting Hitachi HD6801s
They were are dated 1982 and shipped to Chrysler in Huntsville, AL for testing in 1982. Interesting I got them in a box, with the original letter (a fax actually) stating their end use at Chrysler, their spec (Automotive) as well as the original Japanese date stamp (June 1982 (Showa year 57))
They are listed as automotive spec (Maybe thats what the 'J' is for?) qualifications samples
EDIT: I found the datasheet for these, the J is indeed for automotive/industrial temp range (-40-85C)
A00 = the ROM code, in this case it means the ROM is unprogrammed
9x Hitachi HD6801S01 J Automotive Spec 6801s
$5 each or a pair for $8 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
