I read the following article: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2018/02/amd-sending-out-free-processors-to-solve-firmware-flashing-catch-22/

I wonder what the kit looks like, most people will send the A6-9500 back. Maybe the complete set becomes a collector's item?

They are sending standard retail box, you can can keep it fan and box and send back only CPU in blister.
