Based on http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30339,
I would love to see, what types of pin-interposers, that exist for i.e. 486s. Do they contain logic, jumpers or are they just voltage regulators? |

Here are some of my PGA168 voltage regulator interposers.

Notice how all, except for the Evergreen Am5x86-133 QFP interposer, have some kid of logic IC's on them. It would be nice to have a PGA-to-PGA without any such logic. _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

| It is also interesting how the Transcomputer module has a sticker on the back with hand writing "160 mH max". At first, I thought it was referring to milli-Henries of inductance because it didn't read MHz for freq, but I'm now thinking it is probably referring to frequency. Likely the previous owner was running it with an Am5x86 at 160 MHz, which I have confirmed to work fine. |
