I have never had problems with gigabyte motherboards and I have had many. Although I prefer asus gigabyte is my number 2. I do not purchase other brands. I had one abit once and it fried and that was that, POS.

You compared different motherboard classes (Socket 775 with Socket 939). If we take same socket, same chipset, similar equipment ECS will be always cheaper than Epox. I had contact with many EPOX boards and I can say they were very good. Overclockers knows Epox as good company too.
