I got some new CPUs, but the biggest update is that I added English description to every page (almost); users can click on the little flag to switch between the languages. The English description is the word-to-word translation (almost) from the original description. One of the main reasons I do this is to let people correct my information, so if you spotted an error(info-wise) in the English description, it means it's more than likely that the other version is wrong, too (then I get to correct both).

To be a little bit different from other existing English CPU pages, I tried to emphasize more on my collection other than just plain technical/historical facts; I talk about its collecting value, market price and/or my personal opinions.

Sorry for my poor English as you can spot countless grammatical errors which I will try to correct from time to time (or if you are kind enough to point them out for me Wink).

Trade list is also updated, but it looks more like a whining list. Confused

2006/04/15 - Added Intel Itanium 2 1.3Ghz 3M Qualification Sample
2006/04/15 - Added Intel Itanium 2 1.6Ghz 3M Engineering Sample
2006/04/15 - Added Intel Pentium 100Mhz Boxed (BP80502100)
2006/04/15 - Added Intel Pentium MMX 150Mhz (FV80503150)
2006/04/15 - Added Intel 80386 SX 16Mhz (NG 80386SX-16)
2006/04/15 - Added Intel 8085 Military Spec (MD8085AH/B)
2006/04/15 - Added Intel 8086 5Mhz (C8086)
2006/04/15 - Added Intel 80486 DX2 40Mhz QFP (SB80486DX2-40)
2006/04/15 - Added Intel 80486 DX4 100Mhz QFP (FC80486DX4-100)
2006/04/15 - Added Intel 960 25Mhz RISC (A80960KA-25)

I also re-took some of the photos (like this), because I saw Cpuswe tried to use some of my photos and them look like crap (I bet Cpuswe had no choice or he would just give up on mine). So, please, Cpuswe, if the photo you are interested looks like scrap (e.g. this), just give me a shout and I will retake the pic.

Ahh, that would be great! I think i remember there where some pics that had to go when going through your pics, i try to stick to the criteria that all numbers should be readable.

I got permission to use the pic from the auction on the MG80386 from "no_reserve" who sold it. I will happily change it to yours and set you as contributor.

Thanks!

/Thomas

Hello Thomas, if you like no_reserve's pics (like no coins), you can stick to his and I have no problem with that. The main reason that I re-took my pics is that they look awful and they have my name on it.

Oh, also you might want to add this too: Intel Pentium MMX 233Mhz Boxed; it's a ceramic yet it's a 233Mhz; the fastest ceramic Pentium I have seen so far.

I got permission from no_reserve to use the pic before the auction ended. IŽll rather "promote" a chip from a fellow collector. Its you guys who makes the library possible!

IŽll add that chip too. Strange thing i got a chip yesterday with same sspec but a plastic one. (I will start a separate thread about this.)

/T
