Think of these as Itanium Overdrives
These are HP Hondo MCMs, the Hondo is a custom MCM made by HP to upgrade single CPU/node Superdome systems.
It integrates 2 Itanium2 Madison core processors (new sspec SL75Z ), each with 4M of L3 cache onto a single module with a chipset (SL7CU) and 32M of L4 cache. These are only Itaniums with L4 Cache
They are rather large (same size as a Itanium2 + its VRM) and are covered in gold
They are clocked at 1.1GHz on a 400 MHz Bus
Core Family : 1F
Core Model : 01
Core Stepping : 05
These are a bit more money then my previous ones, mainly because shipping keeps going up and they are getting hard to find, being they were custom made for a single type of HP system.
These include the heatsink/integrated VRM (but I can remove it if needed)
$35 each or a pair for $65

One with heatsink/integrated VRM for me also.
These were created because there were no Itanium2 dual core option at that time while the PA-8800 were dual core so there was little incentive for customers to upgrade to new Superdomes. The also had the name of MX2 and worked with the sx1000 chipset:
