But DMI - it's Direct Media Interface.
I think someone here is mistaken and misleads others.

Sorry, I forgot to respond when it was posted. You are right, it should be Direct Media Interface. It is corrected now. Thank you for the correction!

Most of feature names are stored as abbreviations in our database, and expanded when a web page is generated. Our S-spec code had incorrect text for DMI. It's funny that the text in question was written when Intel introduced DMI, so for so many years nobody spotted this mistake.
