Or is this a mistake:

I see no S-Specs, but both 233 and 266's are listed with 256 KB?

I've not seen one, but I remember these 256kB models were made available for OEMs. All the retail versions had 512KB. Intel did a similar thing with the Pentium 3 in the Xbox, giving it 128kB of cache, rather than the 256kB that was in the retail version.

There's a difference between being in the pricelist, and any being produced or bought. I don't know if either happened. I do remember them being offered though, which is what I said. In 233MHz at least anyway.

If they show up anywhere it will be in things like CD duplicators and jukeboxes. This is where Intel was targeting with them more so than PCs.

8-way cache associativity vs 4-way in the celeron.
