|
|
Greetings, everyone.
Forum noobie here with his first post and I need help from you CPU gurus/collectors.
I recently won an auction for the contents of a 10' x 20' storage locker. It was used by an electronics/eWaste hoarder and it was a winner for me!
I am still sorting through the stash . . . gold top ceramic CPUs, laptops, towers, MBs, PCBs and more. It has doubled my own hoard.
The locker had two beta CPUs, individually packaged in anti-static boxes. They appear to be Intel CPUs but a Google search of any of the serial numbers and reference to Presler B-1 Betas is a no-show. You'll note that the CPUs have nothing laser printed on their heat spreaders. There is only the small serial identifier as shown in the pics. Both are in pristine condition.
Any help/information/or guesstimate as to their collectability will be greatly appreciated!
Peace,
James |

These samples have been showing up in various places the last few months (seen them on several gold scrap forums too) all similarly packaged. Must have been given away to employees or something.
They are collectible in their boxes for sure _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

I'm pretty sure that GRF post was from me.
I first posted there but they said CPU World is where the collectors hang out and I would probably get better information there.
Thanks!
