As the title states.

I was offered this CPU from a contact in China.

It doesn’t look like any engineering sample I’ve even seen in that generation, it also lacks a Q-SPEC.

He did mention this having “JKT” on the IHS so it could be the JKT Everest CPU from CPUShack’s website.

I am not certain until I see the actual thing in front of my door, probably a month or two from now.

I am really itching to find out what this is.

Any leads would be helpful! Thanks!

JKT is Jaketown ES, but its something besides everest, or bigger then Everest, as its a 6-core. nice one for sure

Thanks for the response!

That’s really interesting! I was somewhat expecting this to be the JKT EVEREST SS on your website. Do you have some CPUz screenshots of the one you have?

If you can get a CPU-Z validation ID, I can tell you much more about this chip.

Hi, sorry for being weeks late but I finally got my hands on the chip. It looks exactly like the JKT EVEREST chip. I didn’t get a chance to boot into Windows and run CPUz but I did get into the BIOS of my Supermicro X9DRL-3F and took this picture.

Weird thing is this chip will not run registered ECC for some reason...
