These are CMOS Single Precision (with DBL Precision support) Floating point chips supporting IEEE754 FPU standards
They run at 16.67MHz (60ns clock cycle)
They were used in the 1980's and 1990's for standalone FPU operations as well as a coprocessor for such systems as the HP PA-RISC NS2
They were also used in the German Suprenum-1 Supercomputer of 1992, with 256 nodes (supporting Motorola 68020 CPUs and 68882 scalar FPUs)

| These are in unfortunately nice condition for die shots, but I still want to see their dies, so one set for me. Hopefully I can cancel these if some in worse condition appear, though. Luckily I earlier got PA-RISC CPU used with these, so nice to get FPU chips also. |
