I bought 8lbs of CPUs from him for $280, instead he sent me an envelope with a 5 Euro phone SIM, so of course eBay decided in his favor (since he has 0 feedback and is a new user, he must be trusted over my 18 year old account with nearly 8000 feedback) and I lost my $280

I always thought that ebay often makes positive decisions in favor of buyers and not sellers.
Even the recent incident with Hugo that proof. |

I notice that he sold a 5 Euro SIM for 3 USD at the same time and has positive feedback for that. Maybe the seller swapped the addresses and it's the SIM buyer who got your CPUs? I know I'd leave positive feedback if I ordered a SIM and got 8lb of CPUs |

LOL yes, I filed a report with the FBI which forced eBay to give me my money back.
He used multiple emails/addresses on eBay, and answers none of them (I had TASOS, who lives in Athens) check, definately a scammer _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Wow, Good to know that the FBI would get involved with a retail transaction.
How did you reach them and argue your case? |

Its an online form ya fill out (IC3 Division) that you then submit to eBay
eBay will no longer issue refunds without a police/FBI report, as they want to discourage people from getting them (better for shareholders that way) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Lol, cool to see that FBI is not just watching us ! I did not know that they would even bother investigating such cases.
I wonder if non US people can fill the form too if they get scammed. _________________ Stelo.xyz Museum (CPU Collection and more) |

| I just ran into an e-bay sale that I find hilarious. The buyer changed his mind about an item he bought and wants to return it to me. Of course he expects me to pay the return postage but he does not want to send the unwanted items back as he feels he is still entitled to them |

| EU law requires online sellers to pay the return postage to anywhere in the world and accept the returned item in any condition for a full refund even if the purchaser has simply changed their mind. Ebay enforces this in their policies. This is why I no longer sell to Western Europe on eBay. |

| I can almost accept that EU law however does that mean that someone has to refund the purchase price even if the item is not returned? |
